mushroom soup, steak frites, porkchop with sweet potato & blue cheese gratin(!!!),
ending with my favorite warm chocolate cake for dessert.
of course, beer & wine for a toast. :)

OMG!

amazing dinner (finally caved in to ride the train after a long craving)
at our favorite korean restaurant.

came home with groceries & korean donuts,
which will make me an extra happy person for weeks!!

having no korean food (besides condiments) at home but hungry for it,
i made midnight hack bibimbap with some kale & egg that were in the fridge.
it did hit the spot but must go eat real korean food soon!!

i'm on a crazy bloggy mood today!

we started ours with a gigantic new year's breakfast at mike's!!





then an amazingly delicious homemade osechi ryori for dinner by kana!

a part of which is ozoni soup, complete with grilled mochi and ikura topping it.

desserts were from choice, including the cow cookies,
for the healthy, happy 2009, the year of the ox (cows!)
