second try for breakfast at the garden spot (where we miss
greenpoint coffee house each visit). seemed like they've upped
their game since when they first opened.
veggie chili on rice was very good, especially only for $6.
so was the cheese, bacon, scrambled egg wrap, despite the heaviness.
but the pancakes were only crispy & mildly good on the edges
with a very doughy, soggy middle (gross).
and despite the relative success of the meal, neither of us could
digest it very well for the entire day.

which left us craving something fresh for dinner :

quickly thrown together salad of arugula, pear, walnuts, feta,
and bits of pepperoni, alongside some left over quinoa & kale pilaf
from my potluck dish the other day.
mmmmmm~ fresh, simple, and good.
