dropping off artwork donation for Dear Japan show tomorrow,

we stopped by village yokocho for some good nosh.

i got my good ol' sashimi bowl (salmon sashimi, uni, ikura, & fresh

crab meat, with pickled ginger, cucumber & shiso leaves over rice!)

and m got his good ol' shoyu ramen.

so good, and especially better today than usual!

after the meal was a treat over at tu-lu's bakery,

where we sampled their cream cheese frosting chocolate cupcake

and cinnamon coffee cake. both were excellent, but the iced coffee was

decidedly NOT good. better to take the desserts and go elsewhere for

a better cup to accompany the sweets.

then we ended the evening looking at our beautiful cityscape view in sunset

at audrey's 20th floor balcony in the lower east side with her homemade strawberry

mojito. i can't even drink well but that was really good.
