huge meal at the national thai. we finally tried their whole fried red snapper with chinese broccoli
in garlic basil sauce along with a chicken red curry, both with brown rice.
their red snapper came butterflied, topped with a heaping pile of spicy & salty chinese broccoli.
the dish was a tad salty (the greens) but paired with the fluffy snapper flesh, it was so delicious.
it was our first time trying their red curry, and it was very good - mildly spicy and creamy,
it provided us a good break from the sometimes-too-salty flavors of the fish dish.
so delicious - this filled me up too much that i couldn't even eat any dinner or desserts,
even after walking it off home in the rain.
