pizza day!
5 slices (yowza!) at il porto for a simple lunch.
2 classics (cheese), 2 margheritas, and a quattro formiaggi (4 cheeses) pizza.
we never/rarely get the quattro formiaggi slices - the last time probably being about a decade
ago at the long gone cast iron cafe in flat iron - and though il porto makes some of the best
pizzas we know, it still failed us a bit with too much dryness.
the other pizzas were excellent, as always - we felt full, satisfied, and a bit bad about ourselves.
(especially after last night's fried chicken. oops).
