{ San Francisco | Day 5 }
a very rare day of 90ºF heat wave in SF, we walked over to excelsior neighborhood down mission from noe valley. the walk couldn't have been more than 3-4 miles, tops, but with the heat and having a cold, it felt like it was about 30 miles far.
there were no bars or coffee shops in SF that is properly equipped with A/C for hot weather like this, so we took refuge in big box stores (savory!) like big lots, walgreens or payless shoes. -_-
we ended up at the semi-cool restaurant for some nosh before heading back to the mission, and had some late lunch specials at henry's hunan - they came with one of the best hot & sour soups i've had in ages. and my hunan ham with veggies was surprisingly good. m's veggie stir fry was too greasy and not
too much veggies, but still decent. their dumplings were very very good though.
